OPT OUT DEADLINE

rb8jm -- "What happens if the Postmaster doesn’t return my signed opt sheet by the February 9th deadline. Do opt out or count?"
-- Background -- t my last post office, manglement did not get the Opt-Out forms to the carriers by close of business on the last day, but did have them at the cases first thing the next morning.

they have till 5:00 pm friday to return a signed sheet, or you will be counting...
if you opted out, and don't receive the sheet until saturday morning, or even monday morning, i wouldn't say a word, as you wanted out- take it

They seem to be taking their good ole sweet time... we haven't heard anything yet...
