Are the ULine Books, package of checks, Veterans mailing ,bundles of block mailbox, and car tags considered package If so does anyone have verbiage for such. Management is saying these are not considered unscannable packages

I put them in my scanner as unscannable parcels. Haven't heard otherwise. Management says nothing to me or any other rural carrier. Our PM is never there to run the show, just supervisors. The PM is full of hot air 🙄 Good luck to you !

U-lines have printed codes that tell you what they are.

Next time you get a U-line looked to right of address and you should see a code printed on saying FT or NP. That tells what they paid rate wise for it. FT flat. NP is parcel rate. NP U-lines are unscanparcel to me. FT aren't.

That's what I do. I literally just made someone mad saying I was cheating the system. I said here is my info tell me what I am doing wrong then? No response.

If they are the thick uline - package
(see @ATCBigE post above)
If It does not fit in the case with Mail - package
If thrown in with the parcels - package

I have raw mail, if it’s a heavy letter or flat day. The slots can get pretty packed, on those days…I will have times a pile of flats may need to be packed up with my sprs and that is now handled as a package. So - package

Clearly, if your pm is making such a statement, he must have some written and SIGNED documentation, no?
No, because there is no documentation stating what is IS considered an unscanned parcel. There is, however, documentation in our po 603 stating what can be considered a parcel. If your manager says, "That was printed before RRECS" , agree. Then say, "Yes it was, and it has NOT been removed when the USPS proposed our last contract" . As stated above, a parcel is any piece/s that don't fit into your case slots without damaging it or other mail. That includes large magazines or any piece/s that can't fit into your case slots on heavy Mondays/days after holidays. I have one or two customers that get so much junk mail it won't fit into my one inch case slot, daily. They get an unscanned parcel everyday.
Ask your pm to show you where it is documented that his "parcel" statement is factually true. It doesn't exist unless printed locally or from the district office, and usually without a signature. If any manager does sign such a statement, grieve it immediately.

one of the reason why im happy of those ulines.. i get a unscanned parcel credit. a few addresses i got gets two.. and this week one address gets three, guess what? three unscanned parcel to the box.

Why to the box? Didn't you see Mrs. Magilicuty in her window and waved at her? That's delivered to the individual, right?

How do we verify that we actually get credit for those unscan parcels?
