Parcel pick up request, causing 2nd trip every day

There is a business I pick up at every day.  It is at the end of the rural part of the route, then I have in-town CBU's and apartments.  They put in their request every morning, just use the same # of parcels for pick up every day, whatever they have ready by the time I get there.  I never know just how many packages I will be picking up or the size, could be 30 small packages that could've fit in with the whole routes mail, or could be a bunch of medium boxes that fill up the vehicle so I can't even see out my rear-view mirror.  So...  I don't even bother taking my in-town stuff out with me because 99.9% of the time I would not be able to fit in all the parcel pick-ups.  Every day I stop back at the P.O. to unload these, and load my in-town mail and parcels.  The P.O. is very close to where I start in-town and it is a good time to use restroom so I've never asked to be paid for 2nd trip.  (It wouldn't add up to much and I am afraid all they would do is require me to get a larger vehicle... with no regard to the fact that I COULD fit the whole route's mail.... IF I didn't have a pick up request.)

Will I get any load time credit for the 2nd trip in this instance?

Or should that business not be allowed to send out a 'generic' pick up request?  I can't understand how all those parcels could be 'associated' with the barcode on my pick-up request....are all those parcel's barcodes accounted for?  Makes me nervous, like I should scan each and count them daily....but it's not how we get credited.

1 scan credit right?

THANK YOU to anyone who can help out :D

During count, there is NO credit for 2nd trips or loading time. This is paid "per instance" therefore it is not added into the evaluation.

Hey, you need to work the Rural Reach program some more. You need about 5 more customers to mail out with us!!!! Come on you can do it!!!

From what I've seen on mailcount is those 100 or so packages you pick up everyday will become 3 or 4 so you get paid a couple minutes or so....... Then they magically reappear right after mailcount .   That's what they do here anyway.   One carrier takes about 20 minutes a day unloading ( I'm sure even longer to load) those magical parcels, but gets paid about 6 minutes.

Oh, and they have to walk about 1/8 of mile inside the mall to pick them up!!!!  no pay for that either.

If that's a daily thing, mgmt can build it into the route for the dismount & distance. Then the customer doesn't have to do the pickup request & carrier will still get parcel & scan depending. I've had a couple built in on my route.

The 5630 form,  like most others the USPS uses, is a stupid form.

Imagine going to Wally World, filling up your carriage with groceries, then going to the check out and handing them your shopping list.

Now they just bill you for what your list says and not what you actually have in the carriage.

Of course, customers getting paid for loss is like us getting paid for half the stuff we do.
