Over the weekend, NAPS was alerted that the provisions of the reconciliation bill Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman Rand Paul (R-KY) released on June 12 will bypass his committee. All the while management at large having a history of being purposely oblivious and unconcerned of the real impairment to operations by not hiring and retaining carriers who actually touch mail.

Yeah. They're not even listening to what they're saying, as usual. The percentage , whatever it is , was, will be , etc. would be the same for EVERYONE by date. So...................................if an increase in FERS contributions would hinder supervisor, manager and Postmaster recruitment , which , in turn, would impair the Postal Service's operational capability , then the same increase would also hinder clerk and carrier ( city and rural ) recruitment and have an even much more detrimental effect to the Postal Service's operational capability than the "lack" of EAS employees.
