While I support the idea, I think the military is more likely to receive an air-conditioned patio before USPS takes steps to protect employees from anything. At least the military has a media arm to inform the public of gross failures through spouse accounts.

However, there are nonprofit groups who use spouse and partner speech to advocate and broadcast issues needing address. Things like substandard, moldy base housing. Things like no water or electric in base housing for months. It's a public shaming method with photos of problems.

One of the groups is high profile in harassing, I mean educating, Congress on issues.

I was reading something the other day that talked about numbers of retired postal workers, and the number was higher than current working postal employees.... Who knew????

I think that has always been the plan. This is why they had the paying 75 years into the future scam. When the number of employees supporting the retired carriers is out numbered, the load becomes heavy.
