POV EMA and Second Trips

I haven't dealt with POV stuff in over a decade at this point. Coworking has a POV route and told me the PM doesn't pay them for Second Trips. From my hazy memory, there was a 40 mile thing that determined if you got additional EMA when making Second Trips. Do I have this right?

1. Low mileage aux route required to do Second Trip. First and Second Trip total is 27 miles means no additional EMA?

2 Higher mileage aux route, same situation but the total miles is 47 means 7 more miles of addition EMA?

I think the 40 mile thing is right, anything over it, they have to pay you.

question. If 2nd trip on auxiliary route, would carrier get EMA or hourly vehicle rate if hourly vehicle rate is higher? Example, drove 2 miles for 2nd trip but took 2 hours to deliver 100 parcels in that 2 mile round trip. 2 miles of EMA or 2 hours of EMA?
It's both if over 40 miles, and just the time if under 40 miles. I could be incorrect, but I'm pretty sure that's it. All my smarter friends, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. 🤠 I had an old pm that just LLLOOOVVVEEEEDDDDD to work us for free, and spend our gas money, I'm in a pov, it might be different if in llv, or gov. I've dealt with it contractually more than once...in pov situation. Old pm....wherever you are at....I'm sure you are still an AAA
hole...excuse my french..🤣😂😆🤠

@Shannonboy and all....................................well, to throw another wrench into the mix , second trips during Christmas overtime are not compensable anyway. OTHER than EMA over 40 miles.
That's true....but I did say I had smarter friends on here, and Neciat, you are for sure one of them. OP didnt ask about during Christmas overtime period though, and I wasnt thinking about that either....regardless Op has the answer for both occassions (rest of the year, and Christmas time.)
😃😁😋🤠
