Question about leave/sick

I'm leaving the post office the week after Christmas. I'm an RCA accumulating leave/sick time. Do I get a lump sum for annual leave and sick or just annual? How does that work. I was told I would get a lump sum check for annual and my PM said he'll put me in for sick leave for two weeks I have. Just asking, may call HR to double check too. Thanks

Your PM is being nice so take the Sick Leave. Annual is paid out once you’re removed from Leave-Earning status. Good luck wherever you go ?

Got stamps is correct. Your PM is super letting you do that with your sick leave. In my office, PM would laugh, and be like haha sucker.

You may want to get the sick leave approved in advance... with a signed slip, just CYA.

If your PM is trust-worthy you can roll with it. If not-Call in your sick leave on the sick line and be prepared to have a doctors excuse available if it will go over 3 days. An additional CYA to be sure your sick time is used before you are off the USPS rolls. Good Luck!!
