RCA worked two evaluations; do I get paid for both?

While working my 2nd on the matrix, my primary went home sick.  I finished the route I was doing, and then went to po to grab his vehicle and finished his route.  Do I get paid two separate evaluations?  Or does the work I did on my primary go on a green card?

Kanedog -- "While working my 2nd on the matrix, my primary went home sick.  I finished the route I was doing, and then went to po to grab his vehicle and finished his route.  Do I get paid two separate evaluations? "

--  Were you able to finish both routes under their evaluated times?

--  You completed the route you were filling in for ( #2 on the Matrix ) and should get paid for that.

--  With your regular carrier becoming ill and unable to finish the route, you should also get paid the evaluation of your primary route.   Manglement may have to provide Eagan with some clarifying information, most likely.

--  F-21 ( Time and Attendance handbook ), Section 581.19 -- Regular Rural Carrier -- Partial Trip Served.  --  When a regular carrier becomes ill or can not finish the route while on duty, either in the office or on the route, and is unable to complete service for the regularly scheduled workday, she or he is granted sick or annual leave for the entire day.   The salary payment for the trip WILL BE MADE to the replacement carrier and WILL INCLUDE equipment maintenance.

--  Step 4 ( P-14 - from 1987  ) -- in part:   In the past, the Rural Carrier was required to take annual leave, sick leave, or sometimes permitted to take LWOP, but the substitute, RCA or RCR had been paid the FULL SALARY for the day plus EMA.

--  Search for "partial trip" in RI's KNOWLEDGEBASE section.

--  If manglement hems and haws about paying for two routes in  one day, get the Assistant District Representative involved.

From my feeble references of RCA days long ago I would say no.  Since you were in house already you get paid full Eval for route assigned. 2nd coverage is hourly.
