RCA working a twelve plus hour day?

[BigGreenie]

I have never run into this. Day after Thanksgiving, mail and packages were through the roof at my office. The route that I subbed on, not my primary but known to me, had a gi-normous amount of mail/packages. I ran the route in just over 12 hours having to be out after dark. This was to be expected as I was not the only one in my office to be deliverying after dark. My question is how is the pay calculated for this day, as an RCA? Is it 12 hours of straight pay, with time and a half for everything over? I am not sure, as I have said, I have worked some long days, but never over 12 hours.

Evaluation for the route and anything over 12 as overtime (Flsa federal standards apply). If any of your evaluation hours were over 40 for the week then you would have been paid for those "over 40" hours also.
