Route flip

Has anyone else had their route flip? My PM did a route inspection on my route about a month ago and now she says that HR has flagged it unsafe. I have to start doing the last part first and the first part last, nothing else changed…nothing! She is saying that A I said that’s it’s more safe this way

-- Politely request for an AI generated print out stating exactly why the new way of running the route is safer.

-- If it is actually safer, ask manglement why they set up the route in an unsafe manner!!

-- Should manglement complain about the additional EOS time needed to install new labels, remind them it was AI's doing!

maillady97 -- ( route flipped by AI )

-- Do you have any left hand turns or U-Turns on the current line of travel?

-- Have any been added on the new line of travel? If so, how is that "safer"?

-- If you really want to endear yourself to manglement and probably put a target on your back, try this:

- Since the USPS is big on a customer's expected timeframe of mail delivery, you could ( or not ) request manglement or AI generate a letter for each customer on your route to explain why their current time frame of mail delivery will be changing.

-- Looks like being named "AL" will not be a good thing these days as "AI" will be getting blamed for lots of things, including postal problems.

Actually it created more left turns by flipping it. I don’t know what I’ve ever done to this PM but seems she likes to try to make my life as miserable as hers

Wouldn't this mean that all or pretty much all of the mail boxes be moved to the OTHER side of the street(s) on the route ?
No, the route is basically the same just starting where use to would be halfway, now will be the beginning. It honestly makes no sense whatsoever

-- Time to make you PM's life even more miserable!!

-- Request your PM for USPS Form 1767 ( Report of Hazard, Unsafe Condition or Practice ). Actually one for each new left hand turn! Seems like left-hand turns would qualify for all three parameters!

-- If the PM indicates the form if not available in the office, that is a grievance! Cite the PO-603's Section 142.3: The USPS supplies all additional necessary equipment and FORMS. You could ask the PM if Form 1767 is not necessary ( or not )!

-- Have the PM request AI list the reasons why left-hand turns are not considered a hazard, an unsafe condition, or practice.

-- Did the AI-generated new line of travel create any need for backing up? If so, add that to the other grievances.

-- Be sure to thank "neciat" for his input.
