RRECS 3 years in

Haven't seen union or anyone do this so I am taking charge.

Where is your route at compared to 1st results of RRECS.

So example

1st count 46K
2nd count 48K
3rd count 47K
4th count 46K
5th count 45K
6th count 44K
7th count TBD

So I am down 2 hours from 1st count. Just wondering if anyone has even built route back after losing bunch of time.

RRECS sucks, life was easier and less complicated pre-RRECS. It's nothing but micro-management at its most basic form. Now this forum is alive with how many .0001 of a second do I get for this or how many seconds of feet walked for that, whats the formula for stops per box per mile per second, whatever.
Hope everyone enjoys their pay and life broken down into milliseconds and the PO can and does change the standards and times at will.
This is effectively killing the rural craft, slowly and painfully.
I miss pre-RRECS life.
And to answer your poll, my route went from 43J to a 45K since this comedy started.

1rst count 48k, 2nd count 48k, 3rd count 48k, 4th count 43k frozen, 5th count 43 frozen, 6th count 47k, 7th count 48k

Currently frozen, but on route before I took over and reccs 43j. MMS wise 42k, 43k, 44k got route between this and next. 46k, 48k cut right before next mms. Next mms I will see results will have 1 year after cut data.

Most in my office fell sharply after the first round but have all rebounded, all but one are higher now.

A good bit of it was Amazon, they opened a DSP nearby shortly after Covid and volume dropped significantly, but picked up quite a bit in 2023-2024.

Then explain why all the routes in my office are the same now with Amazon, as they were before Amazon. We used to have a pumpkin full. Now we all have two or three, second trips, etc for the same pay. RRECS is BS unless we can see our actual numbers on the website that was promised.

I was a 40k before RRECS started. Went up to a 47k after a year and a half. The last 2 years I have gone down to a 43k. I know most of you don’t like RRECS, but the count system used previously was absolutely awful. It measured mail in February for a two week period, when circulars conveniently disappeared, and parcel volume also fell. Is RRECS flawed. Yes. Is it better than the previous system. Big YES!
