Service Point vs Locked Pouch Stop

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the terms, Service Point and Locked Pouch Stop?

I have an intermediate office every day, and my pm mapped it as Service Point. DR said it needs to be recorded in actual time now because it was not mapped as stated in the mini mail survey instructions as, “all intermediate offices are to be mapped as a “locked Pouch stop” No walking distances are to be measured since its all actual Time in that office. I told this to my pm several times. He said he called someone and they, whoever “they” are told him he mapped it correctly.
My DR said my pm is going to be questioned as to why it wasn’t mapped correctly. Actual time is better for me, but, oh well,🤷🏻‍♀️ I tried.

I’m not believing the info my pm is getting it because it does not specifically say, “ locked Pouch stop” in my mapping. I know all the unlocking/ locking measurements are calculated into this and would not need to be timed.

I’m timing my actual time at the intermediate po and giving it to pm daily. Now he’s saying, ”The word he’s getting from HQ, is that under this new RRECS system the Service Point and the Locked Pouch Stop are the same thing” and we need to measure my walking distances. How can it be the same thing?

I don’t understand. Any input or classification is much appreciated. Thank you.

Stopping at an RMPO? As I understood the training, the DR is correct. Service points are only credited to the route that drops off the locked pouch. That route is credited around 1 minute and 30 seconds for the stop daily if low volume, around 5 if high volume. As far as stopping at a service point without the locked pouch to drop off/pick up customer holds, etc, going into the survey I figured it would be credited as miscellaneous time. Imagine my surprise when I tried to claim it and it was immediately shot down. I’m currently arguing it with the DSS but I am planning to take an L.

It was always given as miscellaneous time in the past so I don’t understand what changed, I just know customers will now have to travel about 10 extra miles to pick up their hold mail because I’m not stopping there without getting paid.

ok interesting, I heard back from the DSS and they say that we do get the service point credit. So PM would be right according to new instructions.
