Silly sunday question(s)

I believe it has long been the intent that carriers mark their own parcels on Sundays, via the load-truck feature. Some experimented with a buddy system, where one person would scan, and the one doing the actual loading and delivery would mark to get a mental image of the package, the label, and the mark. I am not sure how well that worked. But carriers marking their own is common here.
The clerk(s) is supposed to receive the Amazon, scan it all in, bring it in, break the palettes, scan and number each package, and sort them by route. That is THEIR job. Thankfully my locale still follows the originally trained procedure, and has not devolved into this sad free for all.

I’m curious what every ones else’s start time it? Ours is usually ten, but even yesterday it got bumped to 11.as our clerks are slow and or trucks are late.

is there also a cut off time for trucks on Sunday like there is durning the week?
When I first started, it was 8am, then 9, then 10, then 9 now all the hell up to 10:30. It's like they're intent on ruining the carrier's whole day. Started with 3 routes and 3 carriers. Now 5 is the norm, with 6 perhaps on the horizon. It's out of hand.

lord we have at least 12 rural routes and god knows how many city ones. The one Im usually on I have to fight to at least get 3 people as we get 5-10 cages, you just cant get that in the truck and they push that 25 parcels a hr which you can easily do in town but some of those routes are 10ish min between stops. As I said I suspect fowl play as I truly believe its Mondays stuff and there cutting corners.

Was the time, not long ago, at our station, when the clerks scanned the parcels in they marked them prior to tossing them in the appropriate hopper.

And they should still be doing it.

Time after time OIG goes to offices and documents failures to follow SOPs.

They should sort properly, mark properly, route by DRT not AMS, report late trucks and shipper failures. It all falls on deaf ears.
