Start Time

Hello,

If my start time is 0800 on my 4240 can my supervisor tell me to come in at 1000.

They are saying this is so I can use an LLV, where I was using my POV and just making two trips, or making one in my POV then the out the window in an LLV when I got back.

They tell me to come in late then yell at me when I finish at 6 or 7 pm.

Any help on which Publication covers this would be appreciated.

He is an RCA serving a Vacant route.

Thanks.

--  Manglement can order / direct you to go just about anything - as long as it is not illegal or life threatening.  The NRLCA's mantra is "obey direct orders of manglement, then grieve later".   Give your ADR a call.

" I was using my POV and just making two trips"

--  If you are making more than 12 second trips in a six month period, manglement may require you to get a larger vehicle.

"They are saying this is so I can use an LLV,"

--  I gather when you come in at 1000, by the time you are done casing mail, LLV's are becoming available when regulars return from their routes.

Sorry was asking on behalf of another RCA...and ok, so as long as it is realistic, which it is not, they can do it.

Thanks BTDRET!!
