Just a quick question , I am sub of record on a route I run when the regular is off  ,Can my regular work on her normal day off which is Saturday and my postmaster make me run a different route? This doesn't seem right

If there is a route needing coverage, and the order of consideration is followed properly, yes.

If it's the first time you have ever run the route you get the higher of evaluation or actual time provided you do not exceed 40 hours worked go the week.

cookie67 -- What is the real reason for this?

--  Is there a route that needs to be covered and no other sub is available on the Matrix?

--  Or does the regular just want to work the relief day?

Yep...  Over Christmas, they paid my regular overtime to work her Saturday off so they could utilize me on other routes as needed...  I worked my own route maybe twice between Thanksgiving and mid-January....

(And during that same period, I was lucky to have one day off a week...)
