Subbing at the RMO

Can a RCA from the Main office sub at the RMO on Saturday since their day to work is Monday or does the RCA at the RMO get to run her route on Saturday and the AUX route? If there is a RCA at the main office not working Saturday seems like they would get the Aux route on Saturday before the RCA is scheduled to run both.

RCA assigned to the Aux route has to be on that route daily if 6-0 in Formula office. Non-Formula Offices can have Aux RCAs with a 5/1 (Aux/Reg) choice. The Aux RCA with a 5/1 has the choice to run the Reg route when the Regular is off & another RCA can run the Aux. If the Aux is small enough, that RCA assigned to both can run both as long as the Evals don’t add up to 12 hours.

APO & RMPO are under the same Matrix & Seniority list. Mgmt tends to stick to their own RCAs in the delivery unit but can pull from the other if needed. RCAs can also be Primary in one & Secondary in the other.

Hope this answers your question.

All Rca should be working the regular’s K day that they are sub of record. Now if there are regular carriers working there K Day and subs are sitting at home than the subs need to file and get paid too. If the sub looks at the schedule and sees a R3 or R5 by regular’s name and any sub not working that day needs to get paid because the sub sitting at home not making a paycheck needs to file because you where available to work.

The RMO office has one route 46K & a 4 hour AUX. The Aux RCA works 5 - 1 but the 1 is at main office. The RCA at the RMO is getting to work both routes now , but soon there will be a RCA from main office available so was trying to get ahead of things. PM says only the RCA @ RMO can work AUX on Saturday! There are 3 RC's at the main office on the RDWL, so one of them could be working instead of the RMO RCA getting the double duty! We will see where this goes. Thank you all for the help, things get so confusing!

rdwl is not combined between rmo and main offices, so that is of no consequence.. . any available rca (all rca's merge between offices) of the combined offices can run aux on saturday starting with seniority on down., why is the rca not working their primary on saturday?, assuming she subs for k with sat relief..,, if no one is available the 2 routes combined would be over 12 hours... hard to explain sorry but pm is correct but she didn't give you the correct reason...

They do work their primary routes on Saturday. We getting some folks hired so I guess this will clear itself up. I just think it is being done that way to save $, PM has said they will not pay a RC to work their K day when the RCA can run both! Thanks again
