Your offices' afternoon delivery supervisors must not use the program to clear carriers from AAU parcels that haven't been delivered with scans. They make a comparison and research anything exceptional and ask carrier for explanation, or give direction to go to customer to re scan the missing DELCON. If you scan a parcel that has no AAU it shows as more delivered than AAU scans. We'd be called up and asked what's going on and they'd isolate the parcel if possible and show detail. Missing AAU scans go against the clerks and are subject of telecons.

We get cleared daily by supervisors when we hand in our 4240s. They only question us on scans that were left outstanding for the day, which 99% of the time is because of a clerk miss throw. Our management takes more smoke breaks than actual time spent working so either they don’t use this program you talk about or don’t actually care. Albeit, I do appreciate your insight on the subject. I was unaware of such program.

I think its funny how we are still the only craft still having a mail count..my bad a mini mail survey! Why if the 2 wks we count (survey) only makes 6% of the intial outcome why have one! You have data for 50 weeks but not the other 2? We all can agree that we are no longer a mail service and we moved and have management stressing on package delivering over mail delivery and well we are more or less delivering packages for pennies. Especially if we are putting all this energy on mail pieces and mail volume! We are set up to fail and the usps wins getting us to to deliver packages basically i feel for free. We get what 36 seconds of time to deliver to door packages...I dont tie my shoes in 36 sec!! Unless you put trip to door for an extra second or 2! It's a joke. But this is a conversation thst is not going anywhere whether you at a convention or conference we have no voice and no where other than sites like this one to vent..but truly venting is all we are able to do.

where do you get 36 seconds from?

my packages to the door are anywhere to 2 - 4 minutes total time for which my route is credited.
