USPS considers increasing first-class stamps to 95 cents as cash is set to runout by 2027

Still have 3 full rolls of forever bought at .55 😂. More and more customers are not using stamps they are doing everything on line or buying the machines for postage.

Speaking with another 20 year carrier that's seen much more behind the scenes than I. They were telling stories about the many times they've walked in on supervisors and managers that spend most of the day on their phones scrolling social media.

They get paid the big bucks to sit around and exert their power trips over us, while we actually get the work done and pay withheld. If management had pay withheld they'd have it fixed in a day, not a year.

USPS management may ignore grievances because they are financially incentivized to minimize overtime and other contract violations. The concern that management avoids addressing grievances to protect their bonuses is supported by employee reports. For example, managers receive bonuses based on minimizing overtime, and since grievances often result in overtime payouts, management may be motivated to avoid them.

The NRLCA does nothing but ignore or decline valid grievances. Escalate to the NRLCA execs with certified letters and no response.... yet:

RONNIE STUTTS (Former President): $321,019 gross salary, with total compensation of $356,906 (including benefits and other compensation).
DONALD MASTON (President): $203,875 gross salary, with total compensation of $241,682.
KIRBY RICKETTS (Committeeman): $197,264 gross salary, with total compensation of $235,557.
PATRICK PITTS (Committeeman): $195,507 gross salary, with total compensation of $234,159.
THOMAS TURNER (Secretary-Treasurer): $193,382 gross salary, with total compensation of $222,534.

Other top NRLCA executives earn between $130,000 and $200,000 annually, with total compensation (including benefits) ranging from $130,000 to over $240,000.

Trim the FAT.

well, i don't know about the rest of them, but tommy turner earns every dime of his pay.

i wouldn't have his job if it paid in the millions.

Post locked, couldn't delete names.

That may very well be, but many sure do appear to be overpaid paperweights, while the accountability is non-existent.

I mean think about how much prices have went up over the years, YET we are still losing 2+ billions each quarter they claim. We have a major spending problem.

They are happy to make Americans pay more rather than address the problems. Truth be told the Postal Service only needs clerks and carriers though we know carriers can handle everything even if we didn't have clerks either :ROFLMAO:

The problem is the inherent, planned mismanagement by middle and lower tier mgmt to prevent mgmt # job losses. And mgmt family coffers being harmed.

Are their slow walking hourly? Absolutely. Are there mgmt positions that are not necessary due to others actually doing that position for the mgr? Absolutely. Most mgmt positions take about 60 minutes a day to perform. They could easily expand duties and trim positions. This is the virtual future. Start managing like real companies.

Management runs it like a person piggy bank to assure personal income, not business success. I've encountered 2 mgrs over decades that actually cared about budget numbers. The rest purposefully mismanaged to I crease budgets for themselves.

Yep and my post didn't even include the HUGE RRECS cost savings in there.

It is 100% all management and uppers doing it and yet the carriers are the ones to suffer at their cost.

In all honesty most management here lack the education to understand budgets, P&L, etc

Btw, I've never actually been to an office in 30+ years that the 204b wasn't carrying all the reports. Therefore, what do they pay the EAS to do all day???
it's worse than that in the lower level offices.

senior clerk doing the pm's work all for the low, low price of.

Also in my post about the huge increase of cost to postage. I didn't mention the supposedly following savings we had:

RRECS
2023 DeJoy claimed they saved 28 million work hours and saved 1.3 billion
2024 USPS claimed new transportation plan SAVED 1.5 billion during fiscal year

Also don't forget that we slowed the standards down on many things too.
