I'm not informed on labor issues, but I can't imagine why the Teamsters would be interested in us to begin with. Horribly low participation rate, demonstrated apathy, and most importantly, an employer with no money.

There's nothing to add to the Teamster's bank account. Just a charity case.

We'd probably be better off if someone like Bezos somehow bought USPS. He'd realize that the high wages at UPS could create a shipping bonanza opportunity via USPS if it were run properly. UPS is going to have to make up that money before shareholders flee.

No it is actual federal law, federal employees cannot strike. Specifically, 5 U.S.C. §7311, specifies that federal employees may not participate in a strike, assert the right to strike.....

They are interested because of the Benjamins. It's about the influx of new dues paying members. And I'm curious about how they are going to deal with a pay system that was devised by the mentally deficient and morally suspect. All of their members are salaried or paid hourly as far as I know. Yes it’s the old we’re treated like Federal employees when it’s convenient for the P.O., then not when we are benefiting. Just love it when Feds work until noon before someone holidays after the government allows them to. And of course there was the first Juneteenth.

Well, it would be fun to hear the Teamsters Team going over some of the basics of the NRLCAs work, I'm sure.
Probably a whole bunch of:
"Get a load of this...Can you believe that...5 years of Amazon for free...zero bump for the whole pandemic..."

But when its all over they did probably agree to give all their business to USPS, to save 50%.
