So how is it possible that a route in one of our rmpo's is not being counted? I also know of one other close rural route that is also not being counted. We were told everyone has to be counted and the was no one allowed to opt out.
I was told that only a select few routes would be allowed to opt out (4 in our entire district) because their actual time was very close to evaluation. Maybe that is true of this particular route?
The main route I sub on isnt counting. The one I transferred off of isnt counting either. It is about half and half in my area, comes down to not enough counters I think

-- The carrier must have submitted the OPT-OUT form and manglement agreed.
-- Another carrier who opted-out posted his/her route was the only route to get a full-coverage ad that counted as a flat. The other routes in the office were being counted, yet did not get that mailing. ( not to worry, it will probably show up on Saturday, the 10th! )
So all of us in the main office that tried to opt out were told we had to be counted. Since there was no one available to count the rmpo they automatically get to opt out..... yeah that seems fair.
