-- Way back in better days, any time a rural carrier opted in to be counted, was he/she gambling that the route would go up in evaluation?

-- If the carrier opted out of a mail count, he/she was not gambling on the results of a mail count.

-- Been out a l-o-n-g time. Is opting out of a mms even an option? What about "frozen" routes?

-- To be on the safe side, maybe rural carriers can opt to leave their cell phone in the office, so manglement can't accuse the carriers of using their cell phone to place bets while out on the route.

Maybe this will cut down on the number of nimrods making their Tiktoks and Youtube videos on route and embarrassing us. When people ask if I've seen the video with a carrier doing such and such, I always cringe and wonder why those people stealing payroll aren't fired on the spot.
