What is the protocol for taking X days? Do they have to be taken the following week or the same pay period? I understand the Guaranteed period but just regular X days.

X-days earned when taking a 3 are to be scheduled BY MANAGEMENT within 12 weeks not counting the Guarantee to end of Christmas OT Period (this year is 10/10/20 - 12/25/20). Mgmts choice, so if they want it that week or pay period, they can.
If the X was earned as an R then it’s scheduled by mutual agreement between mgmt & Carrier but still cannot be used in the 10/10-12/25 timeframe.
ONLY during the 10/10-12/25 timeframe is an X to be scheduled within that same Pay Period or automatically paid out.
