Looking to see who yall have your insurance with. I'm in Texas and my company just dropped my post office part from my policy. They also told me if I loaned it to another coworker it would not be covered.

-- Prior to working for the USPS, I had GEICO, but was informed they didn't go "commercial" coverage - i.e. delivering for the USPS. ( mid-1990's ).

-- So went with National General.

-- Stayed with them after leaving the USPS for a few years, but went back to GEICO when NG wanted to add someone to the policy who lived in the household but would never drive my vehicle.

**Contract route (1099'er) or POV Postal 'company' route ?
**1099'ers carry the liability themselves - the type (auto, property, legal....) and amounts required spelled out in the contract - cost should have been calculated when you or the vendor you work for bid the contract.
**Working directly for 'the company' in a POV - ALL liability is covered by 'the company' when on duty - from the time you leave the house and return.
There is info on this somewhere - have your onion rep find it ! Place a copy in your insurance file with your agent.

Really? The po covers us while we’re in our POV? I was always under the assumption insurance was our responsibility.?.?.?.?
