Okay, they're kicking some new policies and procedures....

Are they helping or hurting???

Are there still late trucks.... has DPS gone to hail.... is mail getting misrouted all the hail over the place????

What have you been seeing in your neck of the woods????

it has gotten a lot better in our neck of the woods trucks on time sometimes they are early thank god no second trucks that was just a waste of money going 20 miles to deliver one piority pkg.wasteful

Thus far, trucks have been on time. But I’ve noticed a lot more Miss sorts in dps. Every town surrounding my town you can imagine. More so than before. And the past couple days have seemed light on dps and packages, I’m skeered for tomorrow.
On the bright side, I’m on vacation next week. No worries here as far as po is concerned to me next week. But it sucks im moving, so I’ll be working more than if I were really working..... uugghhhhh

Yep just friggin great instead of getting second trucks everyday now we get hundreds and hundreds of first class packages that are 2-3 weeks late twice a week!
And those tracking scans are being duly noted by HQ. They be looking for the problems, your plants might be some of them. Because of proximity of workers at the plants, many workers are taking sudden leave for covid19. Most workers I've spoken with it's just an FU to MGMT, not covid19 concerns per se.

We recently had a late truck due to call offs on SL.... nobody to sort to the trucks.... might have been a FU....

Wonder how much scrutiny these issues are getting nowadays???

Our office delayed incredible amounts of first and second class mail for the first 10-12 days of this.

Our mail sorted by the plant appears to be intentionally sabotaged.
DPS with hundreds of mistrows worked throughout.
The plant also took EDDM that had been in order, mixed them up, threw them in our flats.
You know, the usual spite, just at a higher level.

The plant wants to cost us all more carrier and clerk hours.
The grapevine says they lost 17 employees.
Plant Manager is hubris personified. (In the past, anytime they were called out for problems they created, they would retaliate by dropping their quality of product to abysmal lows.)

I have loved not having to wait for late drop offs! (I am already dealing with staggered start times in a heat wave.?)
The parcel volumes have been fluctuating wildly, but still mostly way above the number for which I was evaluated.

*Spell checker changed "mistrows" to "mistress!"

You'd think there would be some system of accountability for this reduced quality coming from the plants.... our DPS has gone to $#!+.... getting bundles of delivery dated boxholders weeks late.... stuff is getting misrouted to the wrong PO's.... does seem like this is retaliation for their precious lost OT.... if rurals were to act in this way, would it be okay???

For the most part, things have improved: earlier finals, no more waiting for late trucks containing one cage of priority, etc. Some negative side effects include mail flow even less even than before and lots of stuff that would normally be run in DPS is now thrown into trays for us to sort if the plant can't meet their new cutoff times. May have to request DPS reviews if this continues. The worst problem has been the impact on customers. Lots of delayed priority and oldsters waiting on medications. People have noticed the difference and usually we're the first to hear about it.

Our one truck has been on time for the past weeks, other than that, same old bs, lots of packages, less dps/flats for the most part.

Same here....

The only truck that's late is Amazon. And it started being late the day Dejoy enacted his final solution. They have nothing to do with this, it seems deliberate.

Everything else seems the same. Sloppy dps, ckerks who can't sort mail or packages accurately, fluctuations in mail feast or famine.

How can they not hold the plants to any sort of quality standards????

I'm in a pilot office doing the pm casing. Nobody knows what the ef to do. Different stuff every day. Wednesday 1 tray of dps, Thursday 1.5, today 7. Moving start times again, second time in a week. Monday the city side was unable to pm case due to hours, a real ? show.
Everyone trying to load and leave the office at the same time. Situation was not good before, now worse.
