Where in the contract does it say management has 5 days to approve leave? How long before leave can you put in a 3971?

Hi welcome to RI, nothing formal is written anywhere for approval time in contract and when I have a planned Vacation (tickets & reservations) the further you do it in advance the better, I've submitted a year in advance before!
