Show me the money spreadsheet

For DB.
All numbers are rounded up. If you would like to unprotect sheet, password is Rural.
Through current payperiod backpay for Table 1 Step 12 46K would be 1692 total.
Lmk if any problems with math.
Man..I wanted to see that...it won't let me open it

I wish you would shout this out as loud as ✈️ 🪂 !!! This is so on point
May be true... but, sadly, nobody really knows for sure... will be interesting to see what comes in July.... guess we can all speculate for the next 3 months or so....

In the mean time... I'd just like for them to .... SHOW ME THE MONEY $$$$ !!!!!! 🤷‍♂️ (y)🤑

So, I'm losing the job as I know it for $1000 to $1200 after taxes.

Knew the new "agreement" would pass. Just disappointed. I'm 46k step 12, this dollar figure is nothing. They will take it back times three in the first 18 months. Wish everyone would have voted on true substance.

Well, for those like you and I... if there's a big hit from RRECS... we should be able to maintain some hours by electing high option J Route... then burn some annual to maintain the same K schedule... nobody ever seems to discuss coping strategies.... puzzling... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

So what's your annual $$$ boost with the new contract??? Probably $5k to $6k, right? So bumping up to somewhere up in the $80k+ range, right???? Ask somebody like @Morty If'n he's crying a river for us.... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

The earliest the schedules could kick in is PP 8. Next one. If so, Table 1 Step 12
46K back pay would be $2267 before taxes.
Well the contract has no bearing on RRECs being implemented. Although I expect to go down.

For @Bee .... post what the new salary is for a Step 12 46K ... js... then see how many are crying a river in pity... 🤷‍♂️ 😊
I'm sure there is no pity for us.
We still have to deal with inflation. So if your evaluation goes down you will most likely lose.
As you said, in order to keep up, one might have to select high option to maintain their current standard of living. Anyone want to work more? Burn up your leave?
This is why I have been preparing ( saving 💰, paying off debt) for RRECs since it was announced.
Some of us don't have that luxury.

Yeah, I get that... but if worse comes to worse... we'll have to invoke whatever coping strategies that are available... that's all I'm really saying... from what I'm hearing in the "news", most workers are losing ground with all this Bidenflation..... misery loves company, you're not alone, etc., etc.... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

I can't afford tears.

Got a text from an office over. 4 regulars up and retired out of nowhere. 4 RCAs got regular, one was Table2. He got a 46K and everyone else got a 43K or less. He's crying why he makes less per hour than everyone else when he's a 46K? Baby saying it isn't fair!

Steps 1-12 with their current timeline was in line with union baselines. A-C was unfair at 12 years. 15 steps at 15 years is the only union on earth with that apprenticeship. Brain surgeons, nuclear physicists, rocket scientists all have less apprenticeship time than us, mail carriers.

I cannot shed a tear🥺

After 24 plus years I shouldn't have to be working six days a week. I fully expect any bump in pay to go away with RRECS.

2015 contract implied we'd all one day be lead to exactly what we are seeing. 6 days per week, 40'ish hour routes.

I appreciate your effort but if any of this "contract or RRECS" was in our favor it would have been implemented loooonnnnggg ago.
🙃
It is what it is. Liberty forfeited.

I have to ask, are you at NRLCA Headquarters? I'm having trouble reconciling your thinking.

Being sincere. Not offensive.

I'm puzzled that you say RRECS must be to our benefit, or it woulda been implemented long ago.. if that's the case, you should be in tall cotton come July... 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

Hopefully they'll break their silence and let us know what the schedule is.. js... we shouldn't have to be sitting around speculating.... RCAs might even wanna know about their leave earning and such.. 🤷‍♂️ 🧐

Trust me RCA know when we start earning. They have up to 6 months to implement program.

I'm guessing 5-6 months when RCA have been working 40+ hours regularly.

Again, if we had went to arbitration, it'd likely have been a couple of YEARS from now, all with no raises nor COLAs... js... beats the alternative... 🤷‍♂️

Oops I must have mispoke..
IF RRECS were in our favor it would have been implemented long ago.

Took'em a while to get it in their favor
