RRECS: "70% of routes will lose 3-5 hours a week or more..."

When I first started there wasn't even any DPS in my office. No scanners, no tracking, Saturdays were a breeze....just look what this place has become.
Ditto, we didn't get DPS until like 2012 or 13.... those time standards were the berries.... it really has become a $#!+ show.... and looks to continue getting worse, rather than better.... 🤷‍♂️(n):poop::oops:

I sometimes wonder why more RCAs don't transfer rather than sitting around crying about who will or won't hurry up and retire....🤷‍♂️
In my case I have worked most every office around me. Just say I have my issues, but it would be far worse in other offices.

All -- "RRECS: "70% of routes will lose 3-5 hours a week or more.."

-- Can someone refresh my memory. Didn't the national leaders say 70% of rural carriers were making their evaluations?

-- On the flip side, does that mean the 30% of routes with Amazon will do well under RRECS?

I think it's already figured out , it's just a matter of time til we find out

My route has grown with boxes , but not mail . I have more sure and parcels , also have my customers do the parcel pick up . More of those , from last count . I've read that this mini mail count is only 6 % of our evaluations 🤷‍♀️

Same here , I had in my DPS yesterday a postcard from a local supermarket that said , Deliver March 1st -10
I sent a pic to the steward , she said if it's in Dps to deliver it , if in buckets of Flats or raw mail , set aside ! Here we go , it's starting already !!!! The Post Office no longer honors requested dates ???

It will be in the yearly evaluation whether it comes in during the mail survey or not.

Question: I have 8 cbu stops on my route, should I be selecting Auth dismount at each one or is this baked into the system?

Also is a trip to door scan necessary for accountables?
If you take more than one trip at each cbu..say Mail on 1st go, then chunkier on 2nd and two more trips for medium parcels, your authdismount would be 4...you need to be counting and adding these in every day at every stop.

As to the trip to door, I believe that is built in.

Whenever I see somebody resorting to name-calling or profanity when you're debating them.... that's when you know they have a really weak argument ..... 🤷‍♂️🧐
Or they have given up explaining something to someone who just doesn't listen...that is usually my reason.
" I wouldn't have anger issues if others didn't have stupidity issues"
Magnet at my case for stupidvisers.

But not when "you" use the term "stupidvisers"

Yeah, I know ya will. Just pointing out the folks waiting for the territory might be antsy. In my own office the wait s 10 years for anyone in our office to retire. Our junior might run the risk of being sent elsewhere. Not sure. The reality of the situation is crappy. Sorry, I guess I didn't need to point it out what we all know as reality.
I had an RCA I thought we would be better off without (I was right) lol). Anyways, one day he asked me when I was planning on retiring because he had been an RCA 5 1/2 years and was tired of waiting. I pointed out that I had waited 11 years to go regular but he didn't really about that. I told him minimum of 1 1/2 and maybe 2 1/2 years. He quit the next day. 🤷‍♂️ If I had known it would be that easy to get rid of him, I'd have told him a lot sooner. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I'm eligible for full SS in October. I was hoping to wait until October of next year but my body is breakin' down and I dunno if I'll make it. On the other hand, if RRECS is that bad, I could retire now or take SS while I work. I'd take a tax penalty on the latter so I would need to check into how much that would be.
