You guys hear about the new Amazon rules starting Easter Sunday?

Hold on a second. Or in RRECS terms , .00003871655342 of a second. We work for the PO and the PO tells us when to show up for work and when to start delivering. Not Amazon, not FedEx, not UPS, not Walmart, not Pizza Hut. If we have an issue with ANY times mandated by OUR management, we take that issue(s) up with THEM and NOT any other company. About the only exception to "time" when it comes to delivering "early" would be the dated mailings as per The POM.
Arcs here just get 1 day per week so maybe it's not so bad for them. It's the RCA'S that it will be awful on. What happened to the mou allowing regulars to work Sunday? No one ever does it and it would help alot.The 2 arcs just got back now today…. It’s spring, what’s going to happen come winter. They won’t be staying long.

I'm halfway tempted to volunteer for a Sunday or two just so I can laugh at the management in the hub when they try this.
Collect my table 1 overtime while I play the recalcitrant problem child. "I'm here to help! I'm sorry, your fake time standards mean nothing. I will complete my work in as safe, accurate, and complete a manner possible. If you would like to order me to attempt my duties in a manner and speed which I deem to be unsafe, I would like to be provided with a form 1767, as well as a form 8191. Oh, it's okay. I'll stand here and wait on OT for you to find those."

Most ARC here have been talking about calling it quits, because they have them going in at 10am now & its totally ruining the whole day now for any family time. Three hours later start time is not what they signed up for originally. The PO really knows how to treat their employees! They are so clueless.The 2 arcs just got back now today…. It’s spring, what’s going to happen come winter. They won’t be staying long
Our arcs work every day they are able. We had 3 one quit recently, it takes 3 people to do all our routes and be done in 5-6 hrs. With just 2 it turns into 10 hr days and starting at 10 am just is stupid. They won’t stay if this keeps up. Both have full time jobs outside being an ARC. They work night shift at my second job, I am actually their boss
. As far as RCAs both the transfers are working Monday thru Saturday so Sunday is the only day they could get off. Even with me working my relief day other regs put in for leave. Management approves it for pets. I’m not working 7 days a week did that enough as a sub. It’s just a cluster at my office per usual.
I really think the Sunday Amazon would sit before a Table 1 delivered it. They'd rather him/her stay over eval monday for it.
Really, has anyone heard of a Table 1 running it?
I try to make a statement with my slowness on those Sundays, but no one is paying any attention. The other poor slobs would rather get done and go home.
We have a table 1 in my office who always helps peak season. They also always get every relief day and day off they ask for….

It wouldn't be sat locally, at least.

Then they wonder why people quit. Push start time back from 8 to 10 and now out longer and ruin their day with family. But it's fine spend time with your postal family and LLV or Metris.

Sad but true.
Amazon does not drop off till 6:30 and 8 am now used to be 3 am and 5 am Sundays. Saves usps money because clerks get extra $ per hour before 6 am. Just screws over carriers big time. This is at least for my office anyways.
