Canada Post to transition to lock boxes from individual boxes

My son is building a home on 4 acres in a rural area that has avg of 2 to 8 acre lots.
The entry from the main road has multiple CBUs.
What i dont understand, is these little boxes are not that big, not the size of a regular curbside box in neighborhoods.
There are not enough parcel lockers, either.
So, the carrier is likely going to be driving the distance to all the homes daily anyway, to deliver parcels.

But think about this especially on the rural side. They will literally only give you driving mileage to the CBU. So now driving to the house will just give you driving credit and no MILEAGE especially if POV. I ALWAYS SAID USPS is sneak good about doing little things like this.

I mean I average extra 10-15 miles a week that I don't get paid for.

I do understand.
With the amount of parcels throughout the year, that will probably end up going to the door, they should go ahead and have boxes at all the driveways.
