What is the manipulation part? Eventually you get paid for both of those if you're on your route long enough. Both of those will factor in 50% after the next survey and you'll be paid the full value 2 survey's from now. I'm confused by the OP ...
What was manipulated 100% is the amount of inverted letters and missorted mail. I've never seen DPS as clean as it was for those two week and that's what mattered during the survey so I'm confused by the post. The survey is what the union needs to fight (but is to weak).
That being said, UPS shipments not resuming until about a month before the survey means we are all delivering those unpaid right now since those numbers are not in any of our pay at the moment. On that same note, we were all being paid extra for volume we weren't getting while UPS stopped using us. Unless you are retiring soon, again I don't understand the manipulation part here.
No one wanted to boot Don because we were "in the middle of negotiations". Well guess what is starting again. Negotiations! Well played Don! Well played.
Same here. Somedays there's everything and some absolutely nothing.
What's ticking me off is the fake postage parcels we deliver. I get more than 1 a day.
Do we even get credit for it? Obviously the PO doesn't get $ for it, but we are told to deliver it anyway.
What a mess.
Are you also getting roulette-style address spreads in subdivisions?THIS IS GETTING UTTERLY RIDICULOUS.
All kinds of flats today, then MORE PACKAGES THAN ANY DAY DURING THE CHRISTMAS SEASON.
This is 100% MANIPULATION! Yet our union won't do anything about it.

Probably nothing...
- High number addresses one day followed by low number addresses the next?
- Even number addresses one day followed by odd number addresses the next?
- Depart side of the street one day followed by return side of the street the next?
Amazon wise it rotates daily between first half and second half of route. It works that way for every route in office. UPS, dhl are always middle of route furthest points out on my route. It’s a wash overall similar dismounts daily due to parcels I’m not stressing it. Coverage factor is what is the part that worries me, if we didn’t get as many wss or boxholders we do it would be bad.Honestly I think it just whatever the plant feels like doing work, which seems to be about every 2 weeks. Won't be anything for 2 weeks. Then a week will be everything. There is some days like front part of my route gets more than the back. But when you get 20-40 packages for days then get hit with 210 in one day. CLEARLY SOMETHING IS GETTING MANIPULATED!
So the fact that people who waited to file their tax at the last minute were recently paid and ordering stuff has nothing to do with this? My volume increases every year around this time. Especially when Amazon can't handle their volume. I guess when we see an increase around Mother's day next month that will also be manipulation?Manipulation is the packages. If these packages showed up properly, I would take more trips to house each day. Instead of taking 3 packages at once in one day, I would take 2 one day and 1 another day. Depending on the driveway length and everything else, I could losing bunch of time. Constantly getting 20-30 packages for a day then getting 150-250 packages several days later. You just can't tell me all of a sudden a random day in April I get more packages than ANY SINGLE DAY I HAD DURING LAST CHRISTMAS!!!
Explain to me getting 20-30 packages a day several days in a row then 220 one day. It is 100% manipulation.
happening on my route too.I agree a jump from 20-30 to 150-250 is a large leap but it happens sometimes. The part that strikes me as weird is the 20-30 a day. I'm in a smaller office but I have never seen any route even close to that low before. Tell me you're excluding SPR's ...

just because it's not happening in your area doesn't mean it isn't happening.
if i didn't know better, i would be of the opinion that @ATCBigE and i were in the same area.
last thursday i had 10 packages.
10.
friday about 30.
saturday 190.
make it make sense.
I'm seeing the same sort of thing. They have an agenda. The low package days will lower the evaluations. They have it figured out to cut us. On those extra light days are carriers taking them all to the door?happening on my route too.

How can we preserve our evaluations with this manipulation by USPS?
Every Monday is now like a day after a Monday Holiday and Saturdays are like a half day.
