Just check my paycheck on lite blue and I was put in for two weeks LWOP! I emailed my Stewart tonight and I have someone in the office who usually corrects my pay for me. However with such a huge careless error I feel I should be compensated extra and file a grievance. Just wondering if anyone else had this happen to them in the past and how did you deal with it? So tired of the post office. supervisors are completely useless.

Get an advance!! That is the best way to know they did the payroll adjustment. As far as a grievance and asking for something extra....there is nothing more to get and you only need the grievance if they fail to give the advance and do the adjustment.

Just curious ... thanks that's what I would do

Closed mouths don't get fed. Will you get extra pay? Prolly not. Do you lose anything by asking for something extra? Absolutely not! You could word the grievance something like "why were my hours not entered in a timely fashion" i would want to know why at the very least. Your job is to deliver mail. Someone's job is time keeping. Only fair people are held accountable for not doing their job. You don't deliver the mail you get questioned. Why shouldn't someone be questioned about the failure to perform the duties of their job?

That last sentence is the $10,000,000,000 question and one I’ve been trying find an answer to ever since I first walked in the door of this pathetic run outfit. There ought to be a direct line to an HR dept to report failures of management especially not getting paid correctly & on time. I can guarandangtee they’re not going to give any extra pay and will act like you should be grateful you’re getting a 65% money order.

So they say there was a glitch in the system as I was one of 15 carriers who were LWOPed! Makes sense since I wasn't paid for July 4th holiday but also not sure how a glitch happened with 15 carriers only. I don't know.

They will pedal many different lines of BS to shift the blame away from themselves. I'd still grieve, that is money you could have interest earning in the bank.

I did payroll a long time ago. If you skip someone, the system will stop you & ask if John Smith had any hours, so, it was difficult to skip someone. I have no idea how the PO system works, my guess is, the system is way behind the times.
