RCA’s and hold down

If an rca takes a hold down on a K route with Saturday as the normal relief day would that automatically be the relief day for them also or could they choose the relief day upon taking the hold down. If Saturday would still be the relief day could they be forced to come in every Saturday or would the regulars on the OT be forced to come in and work instead.

RCA on hold down does not mean they get a day off. It does mean management can if they have enough subs choose what day if any a sub gets off or days to keep them at eval or under 40 hrs weekly. It does mean rca on hold down should only be working that route first and foremost. It needs to be primary on matrix or none of the stipulations for hold down apply.

No 40-hour rule with Primary route work. RCAs have the right to work up to the Evaluation of the Primary regardless of other work done during the week.

Never said it was a rule, first part I specifically said work up to eval. If they have sufficient subs, management will give assistance to keep them under 40 to keep payroll lower.
