Anyone forced to go to another station?

They do it all the time here with RCA's under our APO umbrella.

Are you querying about offices not under the APO umbrella and the new 50 mile contract wording?

My HCR PM asked if I anted to go 105 miles away at 58 cents per mile to do an aux route....about 6 hours.

Of course no hourly pay for travel time.

They really have no clue!
I bet you said yes, please sign me up for that gig, I'll travel two hours each direction for 6 hours pay!
That would be about a ten hour day for just over $100,
$10 per hour who could refuse that!

Worse....back roads...........its 123 miles actually and 2 hrs and 37 minutes.

PM acted like it was he was doing me a big favor.

Only 58 cents AND no hourly pay for travel!?!? That was going to be my next question. If they included the time to drive there as work hours.
Nope...so basically for a 6 hour route...IF I completed it in evaluated time....doubtful at least 1st day.....I would work 11 hours including the travel time and be paid $111.36 taxable wage (6 x $18.56). Then 246 miles x .58 =$142.68 travel / ema + whatever ema route mileage is.

We all know that .72 mile is woeful, just think about .58 cents per mile driving through the mountains. Meanwhile, thank you for taking 5 hours of your own time.

How anyone, even a PM sucked into the Postal Mash can think this is a good idea, have to be out of their mind.

But if youcare traveling to a other office, you get paid your actual hours because youve never been trained on it. No?
