Just wanted to say hi!

Hello everyone! I'm an RCA coming up on my 1 year of service and without too many hiccups I really like my job. I really enjoy being able to drive my own vehicle because I've seen how big companies maintain company equipment and I value my safety more than they do! There are few routes in my office, no city carriers; I hope to make regular soon, the youngest regular in my office is less than 10 years from retirement and in poor health, the others are all under 3 years from retirement and could really just leave when the mood moves them. Anyway, just wanted to say hi and looking forward to warm weather!

Welcome. The one thing I truly hated during my sub years was feeling like a vulture circling over my coworkers, just waiting for one of them to retire or drop dead. It would be nice if there was a better way for us to advance in this job. Of course, now there are people circling over me, but they're just gonna have to wait awhile. ?

Hello nice to read a bright upbeat personal post. Welcome glad you made it through the ruff and tuff part. There's a lot to say about acclamation. It is nice driving your own rig. Heat radio airbags all those good things. Keep up the good work and enjoy yourself and keep taking care of yourself. You will have even a better time when you go regular. I enjoy my street time the most. I enjoy setting it up too so my street time is even nicer. Stay happy

Welcome! Thank you for sticking out a year and it sounds like you are in a fairly decent office. Hope you make regular in a reasonable time. There are, or have been, plenty of good things about this job...hope it stays that way during your career here

I was thinking that Unclewolerine would be out in the parking lot cutting brake lines!
