I find him hard to listen to but I held my nose and did it anyway. Listening to all of it would give you a good idea what his plans are for the future but specifically regarding to our lovely evaluation system and the pay cuts it brought, start listening at 1:38:00 and pay close attention to what he says at an 1:42:15. Truthful statement? The congresswoman's points about people not being informed are a bit of a stretch I would think but I belive she's the only one of the day who brought up pay cuts.

I read a little bit of his testimony. King Louis!!!

How out of touch is he that he can say that he doesn't believe that it's 60% that lost pay?

His hatred of oversight was consistent throughout the 3 hours. Let him do whatever he wants and the post office will be just fine...

Mr. Comer evidently has no idea a consolidation plan has been fully laid out for more than a decade. IZt was just so despised it was not implemented. That is until NoJoy brakes it up into pieces to shove it through without oversight or feedback.
Like I said, King Louis. He behaves like your typical tyrant who thinks they're the smartest in the room and don't need oversight.

Really, It's not the biggest problem that 60% of carriers' route pay dropped all at once because of a not existent disfunctional evaluation system for the pat 4 years. The biggest problem is a total disregard for the well-being of thousands of individual employees and all of their family's well-being. A strong leader would be fully aware of the changes and put in place actions to mitigate harm to employees as well as make adjustments to realign service to maintain employee jobs, pay level, and morale. Not giving a crap about your people speaks volumes.
Which is why I am going to look for another job and get out of this shit show

I'm just blown away at his arrogance. Doesn't believe the 60% figure although it's 66%. Believes working with the "union" with retention and hiring is working. I've been done caring about this organization for a long time. I take care of my customers and that is it. Seen too much garbage over the years, free Amazon service for years, covid parcels, wearing a fricking mask, rrecs and all its horrible time standards, the lies about transparency and being able to verify data daily, implementing a disastrous system where 66% lose wages with all its flaws, and now to his " I don't really care comments ".
I come to work, I do my job well, I take good care of my customers. But I really hate this organization and the association. Both are corrupt.
We have giving back so much over the years in changed standards, lose days off, but it's never enough for them. Now they finally destroyed our craft and they don't care. No big deal

If this was rolled out with proper training to all carriers and when the system was proven to work correctly in all situations it might be a system that could properly evaluate route. But the fact is there are so many problems,
Scanners with zero safety net on scanners for accuracy of logging of route actions.

Entire distribution facilities improperly labeling mail so that counts are not credited properly to routes. The fact there is poor or no cell services in many of our rural communities for the scanner to ‘track’ stops.

Insufficient GPS/mapping programs, my mapping shows me driving through the woods in a large majority of my route.
And I’m sure there is so many more problems that I don’t even understand, let alone am aware of.

You know by now who Corey Walton is. On one of his podcasts he made the comment that the high administration knows that local postal management is a big problem with contractual violations.

Do you understand that the only way for high administration to fix this is for carriers to grow a set of balls and file grievances until they run out of paper? All change is local and I would submit that the rural craft let itself down because all they could see is the next day they call in sick. Natural law says you have to work hard for what you get, rurals are stuck on the beach, crying for someone else to do the work for them.

Thank you for sharing the link to the video.
I try to find the right words after seeing the few minutes about the new pay system for the rural carriers.
He does not show any kind of care, respect and responsibility. Hes the boss on paper but not a leader for employees. Just to mention, the fish can stink from the head, but many people still try to make this ship float.
No more words, its ridiculous.

Well said!

Not one bit of concern for carriers losing money. Another reason to take every fricking parcel to the door and make them pay.
Like I did today..there's was so little mail,I took every bit I could to rhe door...my city carrier friend even mentioned this afternoon about how so much mail is missing...not how it's light,..but actually missing....no People, no SI, Today, no swimwear catalogs, not even our marriage mail cards were with our red plums

Concentrate taking parcels to door and your route will do well. My route went up 11 hours, all others in my office went down 6 to 10 hours. BUT, you know it's only a matter of time until they change the rules on us to screw us even more. I'm sure our corrupt association will give them anything they want. Get it while you can!

Don't put all the blame on DeJoy. He said Ronnie Boi was working with him to sell us all out. The 66%, Ronnie knew about all along, and as long as he kept his 6 figure salary and all perks, who cares about us little people?
Ronnie kept the craft in the dark about rrecs for many years. Once the standards came out I knew it was bad, but listening to Ronnie, he painted a different picture. Everything was secret, time studies and the results. He knew it was bad, but he wasn't going to say anything, it was on his watch. So he gave false hope and optimism about rrecs to the very end. Ronnie cares about Ronnie! He'll be gone soon, another will take his position, will say a few positive things, the majority of members will have new hope, only to be disappointed again. The association ain't going to get us out of this. It's done, finished, the usps won't give back what they took. Feel sorry for you younger carriers.

what about the carriers that have consistently filed OVER AND OVER and nothing happens???? local stewards or adrs settle for a half day or full days pay here and there but NEVER a "cease and desist" or "compouding penaltys" for violating the same rule. our union has been given the chance OVER AND OVER AGAIN to show it has a set of balls to back the carriers that are continously wronged yet they do nothing but a days pay. FFF them they don't care about changing the problems just a cash settlement and all is forgiven. Sorry that we bothered you Louie!!! if that doesn't change(which it never will) our craft is DOOMED!!!!!

I remember in a union meeting several years ago it looked like around 60% of the routes eval would decline. This was brought up multiple times. No one should be surprised at this point. It's the management's responsibility to manage the mail flow volume and livable employment. it's management's responsibility to develop and deploy any electronic systems as well as make sure they are accurate. The Union negotiated and members ratified a contract, The Union lost arbitration on RRECS and the Union represents members in disputes of contract violations. So what arm has the burdon of responsibility for unmanaged extreme route variations? It's pretty clear.
so maybe there should have been a count in the last 5 years to cushion the blow???????. no, instead they changed the standards so that people like me that have done amazon for free for 5 years got hosed and cut with the new standards can continue to deliver amazon for FREE. again FREE. they saved the gravies and F'd rest of us for years!!!!!!
