I see you worked LESS than 8 hours on Tuesday.... wth are you crying about????
About typical for routes in our offices, on average, because of political. Because of volume, we average about 500 boxes per route, but ten sets of political, it takes a couple of hours more than without political.
Thankful this is just due to the political mail. Went from a 48k to a 46k this year but am consistently under. Lucky and blessed in that regard. The political mail has been adding 2 - 3 hours of casing. My route is parcel heavy but rather light on the mail. 40 miles 850 customers 55% cbu 45% curbside. Can't answer your question on the pay my sub worked those two Saturdays. That is why eos is 10 mins but the handwriting is eerily similar lol I am mostly surprised to still be seeing political mail at the rate we have with the election being 4 days away. That sucks.
How long have you been working like that?
Are you classified as overburdened yet?
You and I have about the same time spent on the street. I don't have as much office time.
Years ago, I was also working my relief every week. When i went over 56 for the week and had code 5, I never got paid for the time over 56. I received my code 5, but not the time over 56. Was told they couldn't give both.
Just wondered if you experienced the same with your pay
As if the political wasn't demoralizing enough jeeze sorry to hear about the eddmAbout typical for routes in our offices, on average, because of political. Because of volume, we average about 500 boxes per route, but ten sets of political, it takes a couple of hours more than without political.
For some unknown reason, we're getting lots of realtor EDDM at the same time....ugh.
It's basically over in a few days. Glory be!
I think the 56 is for 5 days, not working your day off also. That sucks.

I JUST BET YOU ARE BUDDY....I'm actually feeling exhausted just looking at your schedule....ssshhheeewwwww...
They have never done that. Even when they had to enter the times. Now i think the scanner generates most of the time entries for them so there is really no reason for them to do so. We have also never signed the bottom of the sheets. Our office is a real trip. How come your management does not tally the daily work hrs? Ours has been doing that for a long time hence I figured it was a requirement. Makes it easier to catch a mistake than waiting till end of pp.
This is dps to the streetI'm told that if you take your DPS to the street, you'll finish under your evaluation.
I take mine to the street as well....you will not finish before your return time either. It does get better the more familiar you are with the rt. though...and faster...This is dps to the street
I do find dps to the street more efficient as you're simply handling the dps less therefore spending less time on it.
Definitely does! Started doing it a while ago and it was very disorienting at the start. So many different things. Flats, letters, circular, sprs, large parcels, spm scans, all while trying to focus on driving and being safe. Dps to the street is more efficient but inherently more unsafe given the shift of focus. Still prefer it to the street though.I take mine to the street as well....you will not finish before your return time either.
