RCA finishing route after breakdown

Do I get paid the full day or just what I worked as an RCA? Do you know where this info is listed in the handbook? Thank you.

You get full day plus ema. Regular takes AL, or LWOP, even if yuin only did the last 5 minutes of the route. Same goes for regular going home sick. You get the entire day, and ema, they have to take SL, or LWOP

That's what I thought. An incompetent postmaster is fighting me on this. Do you know where it is written officially so I can show it to her?

The above is all true unless the regular is working his relief day, while on the RDWL, when he gets sick and goes home. In that case the regular gets paid 150% for the hours worked and the RCA gets paid hourly for the hours he worked.

I honestly can’t believe all the bells and whistles (crap and bull) we carriers need to carry around with us for backup information to these Incompetinant peeps. There’s so many, it’s exhausting......
Where is the one stop shop for all this crap? And don’t tell me the union site.......thru a union steward......
We all have to stand alone because we don’t have union backup. The Trump task force team as of 1/5 is suggesting the removal of the union would help the po in being able to change our pay, and looking to be able to increase charges to customers for delivery, possible rental agreements for others to use our boxes......peeps, how are we going to survive against these incompantant peeps, hope our weak union starts working out and building some muscle and gets strong because the fight is on. Stay calm, fight on!

Is it the same if an RCA has to finish an aux. route when the assigned carrier becomes ill? Or does the assisting RCA just get paid time and miles on a green card?
