Mothership texts now?

First off noticed the hydration scammer notice today. I'll be jiggered... 38 as a high and overcast.

Anyhoot. While servicing a dismount location the mysterious scammer ping around noon. Look down not an SPM. To my surprise a text. Open that puppy up as an engaged employee because I'm concerned. The message was from MOTHERSHIP not my office asking me if I had enough water. I responded from preselection of FIRE.

Got back to the office and SUPER was just grinning from ear to ear. So be prepared for the daily hydration log in scammer message again, and despite being wrong a random scammer text from MOTHERSHIP checking on your well being. I now will ignore scammer TEXTS.

Water every 20 minutes. Thank the good Lord we are permitted a generous 5 minutes to pee. The mothership will not be forgiving if you abuse thier generosity.

Got that same text message today as well. Thanks for the idea about responding. It's better than what I nearly did, which was to throw the fool thing out the window and run it over. It's not good for the customers on the route to see us sitting at their box and cussing up a storm for no obvious reason.

LOL... now it makes sense!!!!

I heard that stupid little half ping.... kept thinking okay where the hail is the SPM???? Even hit "escape W" 2 or 3 times... nuthin'...

So, now that text will be there in the morning...

My scammer did lock up and had to be reboot later tho... POS...

the paranoid among us will insist it was the office pinging our location; however, I too looked at the inbox to find a new insipid message about heat precautions, which I promptly deleted.

From my experience regarding these TEXTS alerts which are only to be used in case of EMERGENCY... Sounds like an SPM prompt with a blank screen. Somewhere on that small poorly background lighting equipment and my inadequate training there is an alleged icon for TEXT.

The only way I have found these mysterious pings was by checking TEXT message in a random scroll option.

In defense of the corporate masterminds, it did break 80 degrees in parts of Arizona's Sonoran Desert and the Florida Keys.

Figured out a while ago those pings were texts and so ignore them. Next time, I'm responding just to break up the monotony.

Silly, didn't you know the new heat wave starts at 50 degrees this way management can pat themselves on the back that all carriers made it back without any incidents.

No matter where the text we get comes from, our return text only goes to our local manager's email. The corporate culprit, would never hear backfrom us.

Nuts! When I first discovered the text feature I sent this: "Case your DPS. It's safer on the street and you use less fuel." I waited for some suit from district to show up at my case the next morning, but nothing. Sigh.

Water, water everywhere. Conveniently in either powder or solid form. Just add heat. And a little filtration. And desalination.

Seriously, there must be a way to make those notices regional? Don't remember seeing much if anything this winter about the dangerous cold and snow.

It seems that they are generated from some manager in Arizona or some other desert climate. Regional would be more tolerable and probably be less likely ignored.
