It's bull. Clerks were saying how they were enjoying the OT.
Well I got 4 boxholders over the last two days. Real shame they're not going til Saturday. Real shame.
sad that Saturday’s don’t count towards weekly hours right? So another way they get us. Work 11 hours Saturday in overtime period and only get evaluated pay in overtime rest is free. Unless I’m mistake.
I believe you are mistaken. If your total hours for the week are greater than your weekly evaluation, then those hours are paid at the overtime rate. Doesn't matter what day. Only applies during the 3 week no ot period.sad that Saturday’s don’t count towards weekly hours right? So another way they get us. I hope so was always told your non scheduled day which is Saturday for me doesn’t count.I believe you are mistaken. If your total hours for the week are greater than your weekly evaluation, then those hours are paid at the overtime rate. Doesn't matter what day. Only applies during the 3 week no ot period.
If you get a DACA 5 for Saturday, then it's already paid at the OT rate, so in that case, you're correct... it won't count separately toward your weekly hours... I believe...I hope so was always told your non scheduled day which is Saturday for me doesn’t count.
Yeah that’s what I thought so they’ll pile it on Saturday knowing you won’t get the full day in overtime. If you get a DACA 5 for Saturday, then it's already paid at the OT rate, so in that case, you're correct... it won't count separately toward your weekly hours... I believe...![]()
Why do they call it no overtime when it is when you are allowed overtime??I believe you are mistaken. If your total hours for the week are greater than your weekly evaluation, then those hours are paid at the overtime rate. Doesn't matter what day. Only applies during the 3 week no ot period.
I’m pretty sure it’s 59. I really hope someone weighs in that knows for sure.My day off is Wednesday.
I never realized that, I've only been regular for 3 years, but I just figured all overtime in Christmas was hourly. If I work 10 hours exactly each day, 6 days a week, on a 45k during Christmas OT, would I receieve 60 hours of pay or just 59?
I’m pretty sure it’s 59. I really hope someone weighs in that knows for sure.
My understanding of the phrase "No overtime period " is that it's a tongue in cheek reference to management's ludicrous attempts to keep us from getting overtime pay during the only time we are allowed to earn ot all year. Some local morons will go to any length to try to stop it. Hence the phrase, the no-overtime, overtime period. Why do they call it no overtime when it is when you are allowed overtime??

Thank god!The hours over your daily Eval ON your Relief Day go towards your weekly hours. They aren’t “lost”. If you are under your weekly Eval with the extra hours from Saturdays overage, then you’ll get the normal OT for your Relief Day & your Eval for the week.
