14 day suspension

I got a 14 day suspension because I called in a few days back to back I was just wondering does thar mean I can't go to work for 14 days or is it like another probation period?

Please file a grievance immediately; if you haven't already. Contact your DR pronto. The next step in discipline should they decide to proceed is removal from USPS employment. File a grievance today. I don't care if you believe you were in the wrong or not, this is about protecting your rights and employment.
It depends....sometimes its just on paper, sometimes its actual days. First off, have you contacted your union rep!!!??? If not, do so IMMEDIATELY. Tell them whats going on, you have 14 days to do so from the day you recieved the 14 day suspension. Have you been disciplined before?? There is a disciplinary structure, and if they arent following it, its a GRIEVANCE. You also need to IMMEDIATELY file a grievance on the suspension with your union rep. If you can, give a little more information as well. Contacted union rep?? Disciplined before???? Were you sick??? Doctors note??? Are you currently on 90 probation still??? Etc..

contact your rep like yesterday. always, always, ALWAYS grieve ANY discipline.
