A matrix question

we have 6 routes and 5 subs. the sub on one route covers the subless route every saturday, as well as her primary route(a J) on mondays. There really is no standing matrix as it changes everytime the revolving door goes around and dumps a new OIC in the office. Is there a rule or something that permits all the subs to rotate thru the subless route so we all get a piece of the pie? I know it would require that routes regular to take her relief day on a day other than Saturday.....but my understanding is mgment can reassign the relief day.   just asking.............those that know................and thank you for your knowledge

Matrix doesn't change because manglement does.

If there are 6 routes and 5 subs and the J has a Monday relief day then 4 of the subs would run their primaries on Saturday. The J route primary would be the only one to run the other Saturday route since their regular's relief day is Monday and they are available.
