All In vs Opt Out District Volumes

Having read that some carriers are actually getting decent volume mail during this count, I'm dismayed. In my office we've received 4 inches of flats Wed, Thur, and Fri (just one bundle each day). Flats have also disappeared in other offices nearby that I've talked to. Our district is an all in, no opt out district. This made me nervous from the start because I figured they had something up their sleeve if they were forcing every route to count - even ones that have been doing free Amazon. Gotta be easier to hold back mail from everybody.

My question to everybody is - So far this count, are flats above normal, normal, or down, and is your district a mandated count?

I'm in an all in district:

1 day I had 1/2 normal volume. Other than that same volume. My parcels are down about a dozen/day.

I usually have 1 light week per month and this is it. Next week our office should have a multitude of boxholders & full coverage flats come through. ??

received a new 4241 the 3rd of feb. had a 60 minute change that put eval. hours at 56:39. i figured i had a hour and a half cut coming through mailcount. after 5 days of numbers,-k days fri/sat. i'm at 56:49 had a couple of days with pkgs at 25 -30 range, then went back to normal at +75. - dps and flats have seemed slightly light, but nothing extreme.

had tried to opt out, but forced in.

We are all in and volume is insanely high. Most routes running 120+ parcels a day and full raw flat coverage daily. We had a route with over 2,000 FSS flats one of the days. By far the heaviest counts I have seen at least for week one. End of the month mail this is fairly typically in my office.

Our district seems to be a little helter skelter. Routes that were consolidated 5 years ago still are not being counted. RMPOs apparently are not counting. Rumor has it new Amazon offices are counting. Five more days like the last seven and I will hit overburdened territory. Raw letters already higher in 7 days then the entire 3 week count in 2013. The same for parcels, scans, load time, and column 17 time. Flats and collected letters are down a little.
