Alvares and Marshal report

Harder time ahead. If Alvares and Marsal report succeeds on convincing Congress to move to 5 day mail delivery, immediately thereafter post office will move to renegotiate RRECS standards. And RENEGOTIATE means REDUCTION. I am willing to bet on that . Thanks a lot all the people who are working 30 hrs a week getting paid 46/47/48 hrs a week . Or something like that . And also special thanks to the people those who are cooking , eating, chatting , crapping , casing etc while on load time or EOS . Thank you very much in advance

Has anyone heard anything of their recommendations? Really hoping for carriers to be offered an early out, or at least a buy out.
I believe it is called the Alvarez & Marsal report. From Reddit & Google…PMG hired this consulting firm to recommend cost savings measures. It is slated for release by the end of this year, but some details have been leaked. Seems like the usual rhetoric. 5 delivery is mentioned. Consolidating management layers. Closing of money losing rural offices. Raising the borrowing limit from like 15 billion to 35 billion. Seems like there’s already pushback on some of these details & the report hasn’t officially been released. I think the big reason to pay attention to this is this firm was hired to “force” usps into restructuring if congress won’t act

just a thought but 50% reduction in the layers of managers. Would all 3 crafts see an increase in productivity? Just people doing their jobs hassle free. YES I was idle for (you name it) and no more messages before i clock in. No passports till parcels are done also. As seen on here .... If you don't touch mail then we don't need you

What would compell the usps to follow this companys restructuring guidance without Congress giving the nod?
Wouldnt the two have to act in tangent?
We are bound by law to the current status quo, no? I thought congress is the big kahuna that needs to allow laws to change in order to allow the restructuring to occur.

My thoughts exactly. Report hasn’t even been released yet though, so who really knows. Maybe it’s the PMGs way of getting Congress’ attention to actually make some decisions

Ideally yes . But haven’t you noticed lots of things are done nowadays not so proper way with the might of executive power only citing emergency? It is an emergency for usps if they run out of money they definitely would argue
