As far as the rca that is getting the day off being a lousy sub, it really doesn't matter, because your pm gave her the day off. You are not being asked to help her you are being given a direct order in the way of the schedule.
The real problem that I see in the situation you described, is having 3 aux. routes in an office that only has 3 regular routes. These aux. routes should be made into a couple of regular routes and you should become a regular and tell this rca "you are working for me". If you don't have a steward, go on the NRLCA web site and find the steward for your area, you don't have to be a member to get that information, but ask a steward to look into this mess for you and you might become regular sooner than you thought. </blockquote>
Yeah well the reasoning for so many aux routes is it is a office that contains 3 different towns within one PO from the Usps trying to save money so one town has a K, J, and an aux the other town has a K and an aux and the 3rd has an aux (which is mine) and a HC route. I have talked to our steward about combining my route and the HC route, but the head of the Union to the steward that they need to wait until the HC contract is up before they can proceed further.
