Another classic example of stupidity

Boy I love district policies.

In my old office, one RCA and myself transferred about 6 months apart. Both transferred to hometown. He is the southern most point of his district, which meets up with my district. Our old office and my office are about the northernmost tip of my district.

Well he was working a lot in my district since he lives so close to it. Well the maroons decided he can't do that anymore at all. So you have a carrier willing to work and just tell not your district too bad. I could get it more if he was in center of the district, but he is hop, skip, and jump away from crossing "the line." The stupidity of this place never surprises me anymore.

The USPS invented both stupidly and incompetence.

The Un Union is on equal footing.

You can bet if something would make sense, either Un organization won't do it.

The dumbasses tried that crap by me. PO's are approx 6 miles apart but in a diff district on paper (WFD), same as described above, they wouldnt let a carrier from a PO with around 3 routes, couldnt work at bigger Sh()L^ with around 50 total routes !!

I know they cut ties with districts crossing lines. But I know a guy that works both districts. It's a matter of who you know, ya know? And the whaling and moaning and gnashing of teeth from other carriers on the line. I hear a lot of "why can HE work over there, but I cant!"

It could be as simple as getting a hold of the poom and asking why lines can't be crossed?

I still like my man @Old Fart and his classic quote which went something like this , " We will not allow or otherwise permit logic and common sense to interfere in any way whatsoever with Postal Operations. " I'm tellin' ya'...............................that just sums it all up right there.
Exactly.
