Yeah what happens
That's what I was posting......... drive all the way up to the turnaround.... mark it as the park point............ drive back to where you get out for the parcel and deliver it to the door. That gives you credit for all of your driving not just from the box to where you actually get out ........ that takes away from the 1/10 of mile (in my case) of driving.this does not make sense to me. why not drive the whole way up, mark the park point there and then indicate door (or whatever).
would you not then get credit for the full driveway?
this crap is ridiculously confusing. at least to me...
How about this scenario............ you park your vehicle at the normal spot........ you have to walk 200 feet to the staircase or elevator........ and deliver the parcel to apt on 3rd floor , 10 feet (as bird flies) from your parked car. I would suggest putting the parcel on the stairs or elevator to get more than 10 feet. Some apartments do not “peak” nor have patios to see from a “birdseye view”. If the doors are interior then approximate as best as possible. 3rd-floor doors have the same distance credit as 1st floor since it is a straight line from park point to door point from above. The Scanners do not measure distance nor does it count steps.
Parcels to the door will have Door credit +drive credit + walk credit. It is what it is but at least it’s better than what we haven’t had in the past.

Don’t see how you would get more than the 10 feet. You get Maibox Park point to Door Park point to Door Delivery plus the parcel & scan credit. How about this scenario............ you park your vehicle at the normal spot........ you have to walk 200 feet to the staircase or elevator........ and deliver the parcel to apt on 3rd floor , 10 feet (as bird flies) from your parked car. Well, I would walk 10 feet and drop parcel there then.Don’t see how you would get more than the 10 feet. You get Maibox Park point to Door Park point to Door Delivery plus the parcel & scan credit.
Don’t Forget… All the Door Distances are “To & From” so you would get 20 feet for walking. If you walk a handful of packages all at the same time, you could recoup your lost footage.
I guess since you don’t get paid more now to go to the door that you haven’t been going to the door for your whole career? JSWell, I would walk 10 feet and drop parcel there then.
Well, in past it was do XYZ for AA pay and then you get to do X for AA pay and some days you do XY for AA pay and it evens out over time....... under engineered standards there is not an avg since everything is measured.......... if not measured correctly, then you are not being paid for doing it.I guess since you don’t get paid more now to go to the door that you haven’t been going to the door for your whole career? JS
I guess I'm going to donate 50 feet of walking vertically ( up & down) while others will get 50 feet for horizontal walking. Seems fair.I guess since you don’t get paid more now to go to the door that you haven’t been going to the door for your whole career? JS
i have a street of houses, with steps going up about 70 feet to the house, that start 2' to 2 1/2' from the sidewalk,I guess I'm going to donate 50 feet of walking vertically ( up & down) while others will get 50 feet for horizontal walking. Seems fair.
I guess I'll have to rethink where I leave parcels. I currently deliver to front doors.
