Supposedly our aux route that’s all I know of. I hope it does get counted by count guidelines and our math it would hit 41. Not enough for a career position but really close. That’s us averaging the last 6 months of parcels and Spurs then dropping the number by 25% because it is the PO.

My guess is they'll really do a LOT of fudging to make sure an Auxy doesn't become a Reg Rt....

1 carrier I know who is being counted claims 12.1 boxes per mile on their run.

No problem on all aux rca has been learning along with the rest of us. they all ready get it done in the 41-43 hr range a week. Rest of us rcas usually have to do help 2-3 times a week to keep them under 40.

What is the policy on how far we can load mail and block left hand window for vision to meet 1 trip?

That's a good thing for you. It's two weeks, worth the time. Also, you should only load hampers to a safe level, not 6 feet high.

Study the components of the office part of the count, and see where and how the figures are represented.

As Gotrope indicated, multiple hampers level load to the farthest point your vehicle usually is located (if you back to a dock for convenience don't do that during the count)

Use accountable reconciliation slips daily as they count as well. Some "throwback case" items, such as deceased, count each piece. Others it's one count for all pieces. Be sure to have all of them, NSS, NSN, FOE, UTF, etc as they ALL count.

I'm going from memory, and it's been years since I was on the count team, but where stopwatch is the measure go slowly. Where distance is the measure, take the long way home. Always use safety as your reasoning where you can. There is more, so study the sheet and it's components.

Nutting carts are not considered proper loading conveyances as they are very heavy, roll easily, and have no brakes.
If you still desire to use them, return them to the designated area after loading, while still being timed for loading. If you don’t need it for unloading, take it back to the designated area while being timed for loading. If required to leave at the dock by your manager and you don’t need Do NOT leave it out on the dock or any “handy” place as it could cause a “roll-away” accident.
Any bundles of fliers (or DPS trays located away from your case) taken on the side, are timed as part of loading time to place them into/onto your conveyance just before you leave.

We take nuttings back inside as We always have. Most of us case dps but current aux rca does not so I will relay that info.

Make sure to pull all mail from the dps that you cannot deliver to a box...holds, forwards, out of town, mark ups etc. It's counted as raw mail and not subtracted from your dps.
If they normally take the dps to the street then they probably make two trips to the thowback case. Get credit for 2 trips a day.

Collecting hot case is a timed event. The 3821 is 2 minutes a day when used. That's 12 minutes a week. Waiting for a pretty much anything is also timed. Waiting for a clerk, waiting for blocked aisles, waiting for parcels, waiting for supervisor, waiting for someone parked in your assigned route parking. Dps riffling is a timed event. You receive footage for the withdrawal. If it comes bricklayed, you get time for taking other routes off your trays. If you have a secondary, stationary parcel collection point, such as spurs, where you must physically remove them from bin before walking away, that is also timed. The parcel collection footage only applies to walking to a gurney and rolling it back to your case. Any parcel or boxholders placed on floor is timed to place into conveyance.

Read the mail count guide. Hopefully, your rca does so well that someone can go regular.

You might want to ask union to find a loophole on invalidating last count
