Aux RCA's leave earning

Hello. I've done 90days a couple month ago as AUX carrier and started to earn leaves. I know I will earn 1 hour of 20 hours actual work. My pay stub showing 6,50 for leave, is this hour??? It means that I have 6 hours worth leave? I took 2 days off in a week a couple times since I started to earn leaves due to family emergency, so I only worked 4 days in the week. Even I only work 4 days in a week, not actual 6 days, am I able to earn leave? Thanks in a advance.

It’s hours that are listed & taken away

I would check rural info knowledge base , I believe on the check stub available annual balance is shown in days . Yes you earn leave for hours worked , 4 or 6 days doesn’t matter it’s the number of hours worked that earns your leave

6 1/2 days it should be?

We don't get the option of taking hours off like all the other crafts.
Wish we had that option ! I would encourage all carriers to learn how to decipher their pay stubs . Management doesn’t always enter our pay properly ( if u can imagine that ) . After all it’s your pay, atleast know if your pay check is correct and that you are being paid properly

I see. Thank you so much!

One more question. Do I earn by every pay period? For example, let's say I worked 23 hours this week and 22 hours next week. In this case I will earn 2 hours leave for this pay period. How about left over 5 hours? It will be carried over to count towards 20 hours next pay period or do I lose 5 hours counts toward 20 hours. Can you understand what I'm saying? LOL

its shown in 8 hour days. aux has to declare number of hours requested when putting in for leave.
John Wayne is correct. It is shown as 8 hour days. When you put in your leave slip you tell them if you want annual or sick and the number of hours you want to take.
(Example) My route is evaluated at 6.5 per day so I request 6.00 hrs. It's your choice.
