Hypothetically speaking, if a person sets a retirement date through OPM of Jan 31, can they change their mind and set a later date in the year, without causing a total headache for themselves?
Hypothetically speaking, if a person sets a retirement date through OPM of Jan 31, can they change their mind and set a later date in the year, without causing a total headache for themselves?
Not sure how much a headache it may be but you can cancel your retirement right up until it becomes effective. Not sure how much that has changed with the new online system but think it is still the same situation.
