Carrier vehicle suggestions

Hello, Yep, I'm a newbie, or at least hopefully will be. I have my own personal vehicles, but they are all floor shifted automatics. No, I'm not seeking a new RH drive or anything. I'm just seeking something economical to start with, for sure. It needs to be a "step through" that I can drive from the right side. Do we need special insurance for using our personal vehicles? Older models bench seat if possible. As far as insurance check with your insurance and make sure you get what they tell you in writing dated signed. I prefer my ford ranger, have used minivans, explorer, s10. All had shifter on steering column. Have taken out center consoles built an insert to make them bench seat.
